The consequences of missing teeth on your dental health can be significant. Teeth can move position in the mouth to compensate for the missing teeth, resulting in a compromised bite, tension headaches and difficulties in cleaning. This can leave you at risk of dental decay, gum disease or oral infections. Bone loss in the jaw can also occur in the area where a tooth was situated.
