Our practice

Here at Holmes Dental Care, we’ve brought together all the elements needed for a thriving, forward-looking dental practice. Based in Whitchurch, our building is equipped with an unrivalled level of dental technology that makes treatment faster, more accurate and more comfortable than ever. Our highly qualified and experienced team are passionate about making dental visits something every patient looks forward to. As a practice, we want to be considered a vital part of the Whitchurch community, and we take our corporate social responsibility seriously. We’ve got big plans for charity involvement over the coming year, so watch this space for news of local and national events we’ll be proudly supporting.

Holmes Dental Care is fully registered as a private practice and items flagged as needing attention in the latest HIW report have all been rectified since the takeover from Dalton Dental Surgery.

I’ve just completed my treatment for four implants with dentist Barry Holmes.

I had 5 teeth extracted in January 2014 having had one tooth extracted in August 2013.

In April 2014, I had 4 implants put in under local anesthetic. I was swollen and bruised for a few days but I had no pain or discomfort. I had frequent check-ups and then in July had the implants exposed. During August I had moulds and measurements taken and at the beginning of September the implants were restored.

During the whole procedure I had no pain or discomfort and I am delighted with the outcome.
