Discreet brace options
Working in a similar fashion to traditional braces, clear brackets are bonded to the teeth and tooth-coloured wires are placed and adjusted to align teeth over a short period of time. We are able to offer both clear braces and metal finish braces. The white braces are tooth coloured and whilst they do cost slightly more, they are very discreet.

How is it possible in six months?
The Six Month Braces technique utilises the latest technology and specialised low force wires to move teeth quickly and safely. The goal is to provide a great smile quickly focussing on the teeth that show when you smile so we do not try to alter the bite or back teeth as this is usually unnecessary for cosmetic improvements.
Is treatment painful?
Six Month Smiles uses low forces to move your teeth gently meaning that you’ll experience minimal discomfort throughout the process.
How often will I need to see the dentist?
Generally, you will see your dentist once a month for adjustments that will gently move the teeth into position.
How long does the treatment take?
As the name says, treatment usually takes around six months. But your individual treatment plan will depend on the complexity of your case.
Will I need to wear a retainer?
Yes, after any orthodontic treatment it is necessary to wear a retainer to keep the teeth in their new straight position. You can opt for a removable retainer or a permanent retainer bonded to the back of the teeth.

Barry explained some options and I chose to have an implant. He explained it would be a complex extraction and may require a bone graft - I felt completely happy with my treatment plan as it had been thoroughly explained to me. And what a little gem the practice is, not only is it 10 min walk from my home, it’s been by far the best dentist I’ve been too . Dc Barry Holmes is very professional and knowledgeable man in his field giving me the best advice and outcome, and also very gentle when it comes to needles, something a few dentist in the past haven’t been!
