Keri qualified from UWCM, Cardiff in 2002 and obtained her membership with The Royal College of Physicians, Glasgow in 2005. Her focus since qualifying has been on developing her skills in Oral Surgery. Following Senior house officer and Staff grade posts she completed her final membership examination in Surgical dentistry with the Royal College and was delighted to be admitted onto the Specialist list in Oral Surgery in 2010.
Keri is currently employed by Cwm Taf University Health Board as a Speciality Dr in Oral Surgery and works at Prince Charles Hospital, Royal Glamorgan Hospital and Brecon War Memorial Hospital. She also conducts treatment sessions at Porth Dental teaching unit and is actively involved in the teaching of medical and dental students and postgraduate dentists.
Keri is particularly interested in treating those who may be nervous or apprehensive about their Oral surgery procedure and endeavours to make this as relaxed and calm as possible, utilising intravenous sedation if appropriate.
In her spare time, Keri is normally running around after her two small children, who keep her on her toes. When relaxing she enjoys drawing and painting.
