Lyndon obtained his degree in Dental Technology from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, and is a qualified Dental Technician (2000). He subsequently graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine School of Dentistry in 2005, and gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009. He went on to complete his Master’s in Clinical Endodontics from the University of South Wales in 2015.
He has previously worked within the hospital dental service in the Restorative Dentistry department Moriston hospital Swansea and at Kings College Hospital London centre for Dental Trauma. He has a particular interest in Sports Dentistry and management of Dental Trauma. Lyndon has established preseason Dental health screening programmes and advises on Dental Trauma to several premier league football clubs, professional Rugby teams and the England and Wales cricket board. He played his part in providing Dental treatment in the athlete’s village polyclinic during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games. Since 2009 he has established and fulfilled the role of Sports Dentist to the UK Schools Sports games to support the games medical team.
Lyndon currently works within private dental practice in South Wales accepting referrals for Endodontics (root canal) and Dental Trauma, whilst providing dental care for sportspersons.
On match days Lyndon can be found pitch side as part of the match day medical team to provide immediate care and advice on Dental trauma to the senior squads and opposing teams with the Welsh Football Association, Welsh Rugby Union and Cardiff City FC.
